WHAT A SUPER STYLISH PAIR

Olivia Palermo and Bianca Brandolini seem to be bossom buddies since sitting next to each other at the Giambattista Valli fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. Here they are snapped as they walked to lunch through New York. I love that Olivia is always pictured wearing items of clothing or accessories more than once, it makes a refreshing change from other celebs that seem to wear something once that resign it to the pile of rejects. I say this because she seems to love her French Sole pumps and black fur gillet styled here with black leather leggings and vintage leather snakeskin clutch...oh to be as stylish as Olivia!

Bianca is a new face on the fashion block in terms of press in the UK, Elle and Grazia seem to have caught onto how stylish she is, with I Heart Fashion placing her as the Style Crush of the week over three months ago. Here's another picture of the pair at the Valentino show, I wish I was in their gang, only with a better handbag and glossier locks.

FIRST LOOK AT LANVIN FOR H&M

The time has arrived ladies and gents, well just ladies actually, for the preview of the collaboration of the year. Lanvin for H&M. And my word does this look like a fashiontastic collection. Black one shouldered dresses with exagerated shoulders, tailored blazers with satin collars worn over slouchy shorts and ruffled Audrey Hepburn inspired high neck dresses. I'm not really the sort of girl that will queue for a collection from the high street but I think this time I will make an exception. I will be sure to post more images as soon as they come through.

Designer Alber Elbaz explains how he was reluctant to make the collections a 'Lanvin for less' range, which has been the formular for past collabs such as Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo.

'H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less,' he said.
'I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.' added Elbaz.

WHITNEY PORT FOR GRAZIA

I've been a huge fan of Whitney Port's since her arrival on the set of The Hills, becoming solid friends with LC and Kelly Cutrone. So when I spotted this fashion editorial from Grazia Middle East I had to include it in today's posts. The thing I admire about Whitney's style in both The Hills and The City is that she never looks styled by anyone, she has a natural beauty and this really came across in this editorial. Whitney to me however will always be an LA girl, I don't think she completely fit in in New York, especially with Olivia on her tail but I'm happy her clothing line is doing so well. I remember seeing her final lookbook for her first collection and thinking, I would wear half of this stuff if only the P&P wasn't so dam expensive from the states (FYI it cost over $40 just to get the item posted to me) so hopefully it will become available in the UK soon.

NUDE IS NEVER BORING

This shoot for Vogue Latin America's October issue shows that nude can never be boring. Anja Rubik is one of the prettiest and most versitile models in the industry right now. Shot by Marcin Tyszka this editorial is a collection of nude cashmeres and camel coats, a perfect anditote to the dull days of Autumn. Have you incorperated the nude trend into your wardrobes at all this season?

BEST DRESSED LIST

This week has been a quiet week in the world of fashion, probably due to the lull after fashion month. However there were a couple of stars that brought a smile to my face including Michelle Williams, Emma Roberts and Rihanna. Sienna Miller was back on fine form after the incident with that god awful blue Matthew Williamson dress she sported last week. It was so much the design, it was more about the fit which was about three sizes too big for her tiny frame. Anyway here are my top six looks from the past week. Which is your favourite?

First up we have Kate Bosworth who looked gorgeous at the recent Esquire party in LA. Can anyone remember the last film that Kate made because all I think of her as now is a style icon, not an actress which is something she would probably despise. Kate, make another film and people can start talking about your acting abilities and not just about how a slick of red lipstick takes an otherwise old lady/gym vest tucked into skirt outfit look fabulous.

The more I looked at this outfit the more it grew on me. At first I couldn't grasp what I didn't like but now I take a fresh look at this Lanvin dress I really like all the details. I love the beetle broach placed on the next and tan leather detailing, even if the dress does look like it could almost strangle the actress. The studded nude shoes also work well, creating a little detail where the dress is split to reveal Blake's endless legs. This was the only coloum worthy outfit at the Spike TV Scream Awards which took place at the weekend, all the others were either non-descript or too boring for I Heart Fashion.

If I could own any dress in the world right now it would be the red lace dress from Erdem, which Michelle Williams sported on the red carpet recently. The design, the fit, the colour, the lace everything completely works here and the animal print shoes really set the whole look. Michelle looks pretty pleased with herself too. I love her hair, I'm one of those girls that thinks if you're going to be blonde then you should go the full hog. I used to be a highlights kind of girl until I realised platinum blonde, when styled properly looked fabulous. Then I went and dyed my hair brunette and lived to regret it every single day I looked in the mirror.

Sienna Miller, pictured here at the Esquire party last week, looks like the cat that got the cream and who wouldn't be feeling like that dressed in this Nina Ricci LBD. The peplum design and slate grey heels keep this dress from looking boring, as does the frill edging and unfinished hemlines. When Sienna gets it right, she gets it really right. The length of the dress is bang on trend and the loose hair and simple make up stop this look from seeming too formal. Does anyone else think Sienna has the perfect tan?

I really like this look because its such a change to see Rihanna looking casual and simple. I adore the singers style and pretty much think everything she wears, she totally works especially this grey jersey maxi dress. The design is flattering to her figure, skimming over her bottom half and emphasising her super slim waist. I'm not the kid of girl to usually like hoop earrings but Ri-Ri can totally work it. Also loving the longer red locks as well and if I could choose to have any of the singers accessories it would have to be the gorgeous arm candy pictured just behind her. Matt Kemp is officially gorgeous.

AN OSCAR WORTHY COLLECTION

As my regular readers know I heart anything to do with Marchesa and Georgina Chapman's s/s11 presentation which took place through NYFW was a gorgeous assortment of dresses worthy for any awards ceremony. I predict Marchesa to be worn to the Oscars and the fashion filled MET Ball next spring. I would love to see the newly preened Keira Knightly with her on-trend bob in any of these gowns. I also think Zoe Saldana, Cameron Diaz and Sienna Miller would look fabulous in any of these sculptural creations. The thing I like about Marchesa is that the label doesn't stray from its feminine roots, creating a new and inspiring collection each season without feeling the need to stray into different areas such as masculine tailoring or casual wear. Marchesa is a label to aspire to, a label to make you feel like a true fashionista and for this reason I will outwardly say this is my favourite collection from the whole of fashion month.

TEN TIMES ROSIE

I don't know why up until now I have been able to take Rosie Huntington-Whiteley seriously as a model, I think it's probably because she is absent from fashion week really and goes out with hard-man Jason Statham. Then the book, Ten Times Rosie, shot by the super talented Rankin was released. I've given you a taster of Rosie looking stunning especially in the hat shot. This is one girl that would never need lip fillers.

What do you think about Rosie H-W? Who would you like to see her modelling for?

HAVING A BLONDE MOMENT

First it was Katherine Heigl and now Ashley Simpson has joined the trails of yellow heads. This is what happens when you go from dark brown to light blonde. The finished shade is more closer the canary yellow than sun kissed locks. The only thing saving this look is the cute blue mac teamed with the Breton top and gold pendant necklace. I dont even really like the new shorter cut, it kind of looks like a mulett and according to fashion terms muletts, brought back for by Jean Paul Gaultier at Paris Fashion Week, won't be in fashion till next summer at least. I recently went from blonde to brown and it feels like I almost fade into the background now, I'm sure hair colour is more of a physcological feeling anyway. Lets hope Ashley either goes platinum or reverts back to the better shade of brown.

NEW STYLE ICON - GILLIAN ZINSER

There's nothing better than finding a new face in the world of fashion and this morning I came across 90210 actress Gillian Zinser, pictured above at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party in LA. Although I've seen her on screen, I've never actually really took notice of her until now. With her hippy/eclectic vibe I think she will definitely be a face to watch. I love a girl who looks like she has just thrown on the first thing she came across that morning and wears it with conviction. Who else could rock the grey carpet wearing a tie checked shirt, maxi skirt and a messy top bun, finished off with a slick of pop pink lipstick. Gillian that's who. Keep an eye out for this girl, I predict big things.

LC'S ROUND UP OF STYLE

Lauren Conrad is set for another round of book signings which is great for me as I'm a huge fan of her style, simply because she is aspiring yet attainable. I know to some fashionista's Lauren doesnt really take risks but she always look perfectly dressed. She has just released a book ironic called 'Lauren Conrad Style' as well as announcing that she is set to return to the studios of MTV with her reality TV series following her career in fashion. I've taken my pick of LC inspired pieces which can be found on the high street. What do you think of Lauren?

1.Leather jacket - £130 2. Embellished sleeveless dress - £65 3. Silk shirt £40 4. Platform shoes - £60 all items from Topshop Correct price at time of going to press

THE GLAMOROUS SIDE OF FASHION

Elie Saab is one of those designers that I look forward to seeing every season simply because I've never experienced a collection where I wouldn't wear at least three quarters of the garments he designs. He encompasses glamour, luxe and opulence without straying from his characteristic wearability. Yes, I adore Chanel and McQueen just as much as the next girl but I also love fashion that I can imagine wearing. When the news hit that Saab was creating a line of wedding gowns I knew that he would be my first port of call if I married into money.

His s/s11 collection, showcased in Paris last week, was a palette of peach, dusky blue and a watercolour of pastles. My favourite pieces have to be the sequin shorts and cardi combo. I would love to see Olivia Palermo in one of these floor length gowns. Who would like to see in Elie Saab next season?
